INT Architects

Marian Dirkzwager (MSc) graduated at the Delft University of Technology, Faculty of Architecture, in 1994. Since then, she has designed projects in different fields: offices, housing (private and public), interior design, renovation and infrastructure. Some realized projects: villa Amsterdam, renovation of canal house in Amsterdam, train station Best, interior office Alvares.

After starting her career at Arcadis in 1994 (one of the largest construction & engineering companies in The Netherlands, with a worldwide reputation for railway station design) she worked at the mid-sized Amsterdam based HM Architekten from 1998 to 2001. In February 2002, she moved to Barcelona, where she set up Int. Architects in collaboration with Manuel Ortiz Alba. She speaks Dutch, Spanish, English, French and German. Specialized in ¨green¨buildings. In 2009 founded group Urban-id, integrated projects to strengthen the own and specefic identidity for retail, hostelry and the public sector.

Manuel Ortiz Alba (Msc) graduated at the Universidad Politécnica de Catalunya (ETSAB). He is member of the col.legi d`arquitects de catalunya. He started his own office in Barcelona in 1993. Since then he designed projects in different fields: public buildings, housing (private and public), multifunctional buildings, interior design, urbanism and infrastructure.

Several of his projects are published in Spanish and German reviews and in the architectural guidebook of Spain 1920/2000. Some realized projects: ski-station in Teruel,extension of a control centre in the harbor, apartment building in Benasque, villa sant esteve,the interior of a dental shop, apartment building Sant Roc, (competition won in 1999) and a complex for seniors and renovation of the church de Las Capuchinas in Huesca.
